BOUNDARIES

He was a good man…
A man of virtue.
The virtue of courage was his sword. The virtue of justice was his shield. The virtue of kindness was his armour. These three virtues gave him a boundary that was impenetrable, although, that didn’t stop people from trying to breach it.
It all started with his phone that day; it was Friday evening and his boss was calling to ask if he could work over the weekend. He was good man, a man of virtue, but that didn’t mean he was a pushover. He didn’t want to work, although, when he answered the phone he still did so politely; good manners are free after all.
“Hello sir, how can I help you this evening?”, said the good man.
