From the city…
The poor farmer rode his horse back to the country.
He was sad. He had gone to the city to pick out a delicious birthday cake for his wife, but they were far too expensive for him to buy. He couldn’t afford the cake she deserved, which is why he was sad.
He felt useless.
Worthless.
