The smog of the city…
Weighed heavily on his body.
His spirit felt trapped behind the prison bars of mortal flesh. He needed to break free, to release his SOUL from the weight of density that had accumulated through personal neglect, because he had done what many men do. He was a father who had put everyone else’s needs before his own – as a good man does – but the price of not taking care of himself as he served those he loved was starting to add up. At this point…
He was in debt.
He was cashing cheques with his good nature that his SOUL could no longer afford: his spirit was bored, his mind was fried, his body was drained. He had been a model father, a loving husband and a positive man in his community, but over time the cost of being a good man takes its toll. It wasn’t in his nature to be any other way…
