HARD TIME

Dear brother…
I write this letter to you from prison.
To start with, I will tell you that my depression has lifted somewhat, thankfully. It took me some time to accept my circumstance, but after being incarcerated for a year, I have managed to find my rhythm. I have managed to find a weekly pattern that dare I say it, might prove to be somewhat transformational.
Indeed, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel once I have fulfilled the sentence required to repent for my crime. I might even leave a better a man than the one I arrived as. In fact, I can guarantee that I will if I continue to complete my days with discipline, reloading them each week as I have been. It seems that discipline is the ultimate medicine for a depressed man.
Perhaps that is my calling?
