There I was writing…
When my phone started ringing.
There was no point in whining about it because it was my own fault. By default I always set my phone on ‘do not disturb’ but this morning I had forgotten. I had gotten distracted and not gone through my usual processes.
My writing progress was hindered momentarily as I looked at my phone to see who was calling. Whoever it was there would be no more stalling today so the connection would be cut instantly.
Tane was calling but he would understand as soon as I send him to voicemail. A man’s Great Work must prevail above all else unless it is an emergency. Even then it better be LIFE or death for me to respond urgently to a god damn thing.
