SERPENT POWER

Ryūjin…

Was a restless dragon.

He overlooked Japan from the spirit world looking for something to do. Perhaps it would be better to say he was looking for somebody to bestow great power upon.

His reason for doing so was martial artistry. He wanted somebody from the human world to become his training partner although, a human would not be able to keep up with him without access to the great power he wanted to bestow.

Ryūjin would give this power to no ordinary man. His plan was to seek out somebody who could demonstrate control. Somebody whose soul was pure enough to demonstrate compassion.
