Stared the ‘bad day’ in the face.
“You will not erase all of the hard work I’ve done this week,” said the good day.
The bad day squared his stance, raised his arms and clenched his fists, signalling that he was cocked and loaded. The good day responded by mirroring his physiology, and in addition he curled his toes, grounding himself into the earth to summon the torque and tension he needed to make a move. Then, when he could feel the power rising from his feet to his fingertips…
He threw the first punch.
