TWO HUNTERS

The first hunter…
Was skilled in the hunt.
He hid behind a tree stump, waiting. It was bitterly cold, so he controlled his breathing so as not to reveal condensation in the air. A deer was just around the corner, he could feel it, so he composed his energy. Then, he slowly placed an arrow into the tort string of his bow and poised himself for the shot.
‘Snap!’
That was the deer’s fatal mistake. It stepped on a stick to reveal its location, which was the invite the hunter was waiting for. He rose from behind the stump, smoothly, whilst pulling back on his bow…
