CANDLELIGHT

A writer…
Sat in the corner of a tavern.
Under the light of a candle, he caressed the movement of his quill. With each scribble on the blank canvass of the page, the shapes and forms of letters took on the life of his imagination. As the words formed, what he saw in his head was transferred to the page with crystal clear clarity.
It hadn’t always been that way though.
No, the writer wasn’t always as confident with his craft as he was on this evening, in a tavern, writing under CANDLELIGHT. His sight beyond sight – his ability to forge the words from the invisible realm of imagination – it wasn’t always this fluid. He had what many artists, many masters of their craft have to overcome at some point, which is the fear of what other people think; for writers it is known as ‘writers block’.
